The Soaring Eagle Campers Adlar 6.5 is one of the most basic, efficient truck campers on the market. This model is designed for those who are just looking for a comfortable night’s sleep and maybe a place to eat a meal or play games if it is raining. Soaring Eagle Campers has taken the concept of ultra-lightweight, entry-level truck campers and added some real functionality to them. Campers this small are typically very boxy and not very attractive. Soaring Eagle has designed a very aerodynamic exterior profile by adding a front “nose” area to the camper. This not only provides a more aerodynamic, gas mileage-improving design, but also offers much-appreciated additional storage space in the form of a front overhead compartment. The rear spoiler on the Adlar also contributes to the improved aerodynamics, while providing a great spot for our rear LED porch light and optional floodlights.
Inside the Adlar 6.5, you will find a roomy four-person dinette that offers a great place to eat, play games, or do work - and quickly converts to a nice-sized double bed. There are dual storage areas on either side of the entry with countertop areas. There is a 12V and USB outlet as well as 110V outlets if you are plugged in. Popular options include a ceiling-mounted air conditioner, Blackstone Griddle, roof solar packages, a Dometic powered cooler, quick-detach jacks, and more.
The greatest feature of the Adlar is its construction. While most entry-level truck campers are held together with wood, staples, and a dream, Soaring Eagle Campers builds our rugged campers using all-welded, tubular aluminum construction, which is covered by seamless fiberglass. Not only is our construction stronger, but it is also lighter in weight and will stand the test of time. Rain, water, condensation, or moisture of any kind is often the main cause of the demise of a traditionally constructed camper.
